Introducing ALR Updates & Email Notifications
Keeping up with ALR just got easier! The new Updates page brings announcements, Creator Tools releases and community news together in one place. You can also subscribe to the new mailing list to receive important updates directly in your inbox.
ALR now has a dedicated home for news and announcements, along with a new mailing list to help you stay informed about what's happening across the project!
Whether you're here for renders, Creator Tools or the community, it's now easier to keep track of what's new without having to check Discord or social media.
Introducing the Updates Archive
The new Updates page brings ALR announcements together in one place.
Previously, updates were limited to the homepage and community channels. Now, announcements have their own permanent pages, making it easier to revisit previous news or share specific updates with others.
Here's what you can expect:
- ALR News: Website improvements, new features and general project announcements.
- Creator Tools: Releases, improvements and important news about Apex Toolbox and other creative resources.
- The Archive: Important changes and developments relating to the render library.
- Community: Events, competitions and other community news.
You can filter announcements by category, browse older posts and open individual updates for more detailed information.
The homepage will continue highlighting recent announcements, while the Updates page keeps everything together.
Stay Updated by Email
Alongside the new archive, I've also introduced the ALR mailing list!
You can subscribe directly from the Updates page to receive occasional notifications about important developments.
This might include:
- Major website features and improvements.
- New Creator Tools releases.
- Important render archive announcements.
- Community events and competitions.
No unnecessary emails or constant notifications. Emails will only be sent for selected announcements worth sharing.
You're in Control
Subscribing is completely optional, and you don't need an ALR account to join.
Simply enter your email address on the Updates page and confirm your subscription through the email you receive.
You can unsubscribe whenever you like using the link included in each update email.
What's Next?
These additions are another step towards making ALR more accessible and keeping the community connected.
The Updates archive will continue growing as new features, tools and announcements are released, giving everyone a central place to see how the project is developing.
Thank you for continuing to support ALR and helping it grow!
