Apex Toolbox 3.9.1 Is Available

Apex Toolbox 3.9.1 is available as a free public release! Featuring improved texturing tools, scene health checks and texture repair options, it's designed to make working with Apex models in Blender easier. Download it from Creator Tools.

Apex Toolbox 3.9.1 brings several improvements to the Blender workflow, making it easier to prepare Apex Legends models, manage textures and troubleshoot common scene issues.

This maintained ALR release builds on the original Apex Toolbox, with additional tools and fixes for modern workflows.

What's Included in 3.9.1?

The update introduces several useful additions alongside the existing modelling and material tools:

  • Texture Reports: Get more information about your model's materials and identify potential texturing problems.
  • Scene Health: Check your Blender scene for issues that could affect your workflow.
  • Missing Texture Repair: Locate and resolve missing texture references more easily.
  • Quaternion to XYZ Euler: Convert rotation values for workflows that require XYZ Euler rotation.

The existing automatic texturing, Apex shaders, recolouring, rigging and scene preparation tools are still included.

Getting Started

Apex Toolbox 3.9.1 is available as a free public download.

Requirements:

  • Blender 4.0 or newer.
  • Blender 4.2 is verified as compatible.
  • RSX and the CAST importer for the model export and import workflow.

To install it, download the ZIP from Creator Tools, then open Blender's Preferences, navigate to Add-ons and select Install from Disk.

Once enabled, you'll find the toolbox under the Apex Tools tab in the 3D View sidebar.

Stable and Experimental Builds

The public release provides a stable starting point for working with Apex models.

Experimental versions are also available to ALR supporters, offering early access to features still being developed and tested.

These builds are separate from the public release, so you can choose the version that best suits your workflow.
